The conversational calculator turns a sentence like “I’ve got $150,000 of furniture in Vietnam that I want to import” into a real customs quote. The chat asks for what it’s missing — an HTS line if you only described the goods, a quantity if the line charges by unit — confirms the inputs back to you, and runs the simulation. When the quote is on screen, it offers the next step: adjust an input, apply an exclusion, or send a frozen, read-only copy to your importer.
One rule makes it trustworthy: the AI never computes a tariff. Every rate, fee, and landed-cost figure comes from the same Tariff Monster engine behind the simulator, evaluated against the current Harmonized Tariff Schedule at the moment you ask. The model does the listening and the asking; our data and rules do every number. Your brokerage connects its own AI key, so conversations run on your account, under your control, with usage and estimated cost metered on the key panel.
